Production and Delivery of 26 District Heating Substations with SCADA system SiDiO to Ptolemaida, Greece

Client: Municipal District Heating Company of Ptolemaida (D.H.C.P)

Location: Ptolemaida, Greece

Project year: 2016

The Municipal District Heating Company of Ptolemaida (D.H.C.P) continuously extends its district heating network. More than that, the new district heating substations manufactured and delivered by Dalsia Brunata are now equipped with modern SCADA technology SiDiO for remote monitoring and control.

In August 2016 Dalsia Brunata delivered to D.H.C.P. 26 district heating substations and in October at the beginning of the new heating season they were supplemented with SCADA hardware and software.

Dalsia Brunata's SCADA technology SiDiO is a proven instrument for remote control of district heating substations. It ensures continuous monitoring and control over each substation and therefore the entire performance and energy efficiency of the units could be optimized at the most.

Some of the benefits from this project are improved energy efficiency and savings, cheaper space heating and water, better life quality for the citizens, central operation control and low service costs of heat substations.
