The contract is for production, supply and installation of 320 new and rehabilitation of 235 existing district heating substations and is between the association ERGOTEM & BRUNATA, with a leading partner Brunata, and the district heating company Termokos AD - Pristina. The contract is expected to be fulfilled in 2 years.
On December 29, 2021, the Chief Executive Officer of PE Termokos JSC, Mr. Arsim Fetahu and Mr. Nikolay Zhechkov – Managing Director of Brunata OOD, in the presence of the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama and the Deputy Mayor Alban Zogaj, signed a contract for installation of district heating substations, SCADA system and heat reservoir. The Chief Executive Officer of Termokos and the Mayor of Pristina expressed their satisfaction with the signing of this contract, as well as their optimistic expectations for the implementation of the project.
The implementation of this contract is part of the project "Improvement of district heating in Pristina", which is implemented thanks to a grant of 10 million euros from the German Development Bank (KfW).
Under the agreement, the merger will install 320 new fully automated substations in seven of Pristina's neighborhoods, and 235 existing substations will be rehabilitated. Also, the rehabilitation of the system for pressure regulation in the district heating network, installation of pumps and installation of the SCADA system of Dalsia Brunata for remote control of the substations will be carried out.
Bulgarian producer Dalsia Brunata is fulfilling a third consecutive contract in Kosovo. In 2021, the company successfully completed its first large-scale project for the district heating company in Pristina (a project of the European Commission) and launched a project for the supply and installation of substations in Gjakova (a project of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs).
